It's truly maddening that there are people on this planet living in extreme poverty, when there are many, many men (and a few women) sitting on vast fortunes, some surpassing the GDP of a few small countries! There's no reason why this should be, IMHO. Pop the cork for capitalism, right? The word "compassionate" should precede it, such that both are ALWAYS used together. I hope that most or all of the money raised is used as intended.
