		<description>I really enjoyed her insight - especially the comments about the "universality" label and the innate complexity of Black families.

Deesha - this has been a very expensive month for me.  Every time I turn around during this blog-a-thon, I'm finding something I just gotta read!  And since I think my pocket book is actually a lot more powerful than my twitchy finger behind a voting booth curtain - I feel compelled to cast my ballot on behalf of these powerful voices.   (Don't worry - I'll be using my index finger in a few months as well.)  I guess my husband will be adding extra billable hours to his day this week.</description>
