When InkogNegro (in the comments of “What Love Is…”) questioned the rationale behind throwing out frozen chicken, I replied, “Freezer burn.” But, Nerd-Girl that I am, I couldn’t let it rest.
Turns out as long as food is properly packaged–and the chicken in question was–freezer burn can be prevented.
Well, thought I, there must be some statute of limitations on frozen foods.
