“A conversation, not a debate”

That’s what the CNN talking heads are calling it.

Seems I’ve been sitting here for two hours with a tight chest for nothing.

I really didn’t want Obama and Clinton to get ugly, but I agree with the commentators that they both played it safe, and that was kind of a let-down.

Still, I thought the questions were good, particularly the one about the differences between their policy platforms.  I actually feel clearer now about where they both stand.  Of course, either of their abilities to actually execute (and fund) these plans remains to be seen.

An Obama-Clinton or Clinton-Obama ticket?  We could do worse.

I still miss Edwards.  It bugged me that both Clinton and Obama are now biting his focus on poverty because I think it’s more pandering than an actual commitment to fight poverty.

While I did not see the debate I am just weary of the process. I want to just vote and get it over with now. The worry for is what this administration will do in its waning days.

Coming from Louisiana a nasty slug fest (campaigning) is not unusual and it seems even then that most voters figure out quite nicely for whom to vote. More fire/fighting may make some folks queasy but metal is forged by fire and you need to have a backbone of steel to be President of these United States.
